Guardians of the Green Future
“Recognizing the deep impact of climate change on future generations, this training course placed environmental education at the heart of youth work – emphasizing not just knowledge, but emotional resilience and real-life solutions. Youth workers, educators, and activists gained innovative tools to support young people in becoming active, hopeful, and resilient agents of change. Through hands-on sessions, peer learning, and shared best practices, the training focused on activism, advocacy, and practical approaches. Outdoor and mindfulness activities helped participants address the emotional weight of the climate crisis and reconnect with nature. They were empowered to act as multipliers, inspiring young people to take meaningful action and trust in the power of their voices.”
This Training Course brought together youth workers and active young people from across Europe to explore how youth events can be more eco-friendly and sustainable. Responding to growing concerns around climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss, it emphasized the universal impact of environmental issues. Using interactive, non-formal education – workshops, group work, and games – participants gained practical tools to plan greener events, reconnect with nature, and engage in environmental activism. The course encouraged more sustainable habits both personally and within youth organizations. In line with Erasmus+ goals, the training aimed to foster eco-conscious mindsets, empower meaningful activism, and inspire participants to launch their own green initiatives – while building a strong, supportive European network.
Youth Camp: Becoming a Green Ambassador was a dynamic Youth Exchange that empowered young people to take action for environmental sustainability. Blending formal, non-formal, and peer-to-peer learning, the program helped participants explore ecological challenges, develop practical solutions, and grow as advocates for a greener future. Bringing together diverse youth, the project encouraged collaboration, creativity, and shared learning through team-based activities on climate change, sustainable living, and activism. Participants explored local realities, researched solutions, and shared best practices – proving that both individual and collective actions matter. The project aimed to: Raise awareness of environmental challenges; Empower youth as Green Ambassadors in their communities; Promote peer learning and collaboration; Encourage active citizenship and advocacy; Support non-formal education to spark creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.
Forest Jump was an Erasmus+ youth exchange that equipped participants with practical tools to boost personal well-being and environmental awareness. By blending nature-based activities with sustainable practices, the project supported youth capacity building in both formal and non-formal education. Focusing on mental and physical health, participants learned techniques to improve focus, emotional resilience, and overall balance through sports, yoga, breathwork, and time in nature – emphasizing the link between well-being and the environment. The exchange fostered collaboration, open dialogue, and peer learning, encouraging participants to share experiences and embrace diverse perspectives. Through this holistic approach, Forest Jump empowered young people to lead healthier, more sustainable lives – fully aligned with Erasmus+ goals.
