Természetvédelmi tevékenységünk legfőképp a védett természeti értékek megóvása, gyakorlására felé irányul, illetve a természeti rendszerek egészének megóvására, lehetséges gyarapítására is célunk.
Környezetvédelmi tevékenységeinkbe tartozik a föld (talaj, kőzetek és ásványok, barlangok, a domborzat) védelme, a vizek (felszíni vizek és felszín alatti vizek) védelme, a levegő védelme, az élővilág (növényi, állati, mikroorganizmusok) védelme, a táj védelme, a települési környezet (lakóterületek, mezőgazdasági területek, ipari területek) védelme, a talajvédelem, a vízminőség védelme, a zajártalmak, sugárzás, hulladékkezelés mikro és makro szinten.

2019. január 21-én indult és február 17-ig (4 hétig) tart a Tesco „Ön választ, mi segítünk” programjának szavazási szakasza, melybe a Csermely Környezetvédelmi Egyesület is bejutott. Kérjük támogassa a TESCO „Ön választ, mi segítünk” programjában a CSERMELY KÖRNYEZETVÉDELMI EGYESÜLET KIS TUDÓS TÁBORÁT!
A Kis Tudós Tábort a Szegedi Kistérség hátrányos, illetve halmozottan hátrányos helyzetű, valamint a nagycsaládos gyermekeknek hirdetjük meg. A táborban a résztvevők elsajátítják a tudományos kutatás alapjait, megtanulnak a térképen tájékozódni, GPS készüléket kezelni, felismerik a környezetükben található élőlényeket, megtanulják a Dél-Alföldön használatos népi neveiket, megismerkednek a térség kulturális értékeivel, kézműves foglalkozásokon fejlesztik kreativitásukat.
